HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -
You can take a trip around the world this weekend without ever leaving the state.
This Saturday is the International Festival of North Alabama.
Thirty-four nations from five continents will be featured at the festival.
Dr. Belinda Ong, the festival organizer, said the event was very important.
"Our community is so diverse. We have people living in Huntsville, and it really shows us the strength of Huntsville," she said.
The festival is Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Spragins Hall on the UAH campus.
