HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -
Several people got the chance take the kinds of cars you plug-in for a spin Sunday during The 2nd Annual National Plug-In Day.
Dozens of car enthusiasts gathered to highlight the fun, clean-air benefits and cost-savings of electric cars. The event was held at the Redstone Demonstration Park on the corner of Airport Road and Memorial Parkway.
"This is to make people more aware of the technology that is available, to show them where facilities are where they can plug in and the vehicles that are available with the technology that exists," said Larry Richardson, Landers McLarty.
