HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -
Huntsville charged a man with robbery after he stole a woman's wallet.
The robbery happened around 7:00 a.m. on Pulaski Pike Saturday.
Officers said the offender asked the victim for a light for his cigarette. He then knocked the wallet out her hand and drove off in a pickup truck.
The victim was able to the truck's tag number and called police.
Officers said man wrecked the truck and then ran to his house nearby.
Investigators arrested Pierre Seay. He was booked in the Metro Jail.
