To say Lauren Morrison is happy to be back in the South would be an understatement. She joined the WAFF 48 news team in September 2012 after spending two long, cold winters in Bangor, Maine. Lauren was born and raised in the Sunshine State but has a big family and most of them live in the Rocket City, so Huntsville has always been a second home to her.
Lauren joined the CBS affiliate in Bangor after graduating from Florida State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Communication. While in Maine, she covered everything from brutal winter weather to budget cuts for local school districts.
When she's not carrying around a camera and covering news, you can find Lauren curled up with a good book or hanging out with family. Lauren loves to meet new people, so if you see her out and about, be sure to say "Hi!" She also likes to hear about what's happening around your city or town.
