WAYNESBORO, TN (WAFF) -
A Tennessee man was charged with rape of a child.
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigations arrested Johnnie James Gray of Waynesboro Thursday for a rape that occurred more than 14 years ago.
Gray admitted to having a sexual relationship with a 12-year-old in 1998. The crime was reported to authorities after the victim moved out of state.
The victim was transported to Tennessee recently for the investigation and Gray was arrested.
Gray's bond was set at $150,000.
