HARTSELLE, AL (WAFF) -

A Huntsville woman led police on a multi city high speed chase.

Police said the chase began on Highway 65 in Hartselle. Police pulled over 19-year-old Caitlyn Allen for speeding and having a switched tag.

As the officer approached, Allen took off. She led officers on a high speed chase into Priceville where she eventually wrecked. Officers said she struck a ditch, went airborne and crossed four lanes of traffic before coming to a stop in the grass.

Allen was arrested and charged with two counts of attempting to elude and two counts of reckless endangerment. Her bond was set at $4,000.

A passenger in the car was not charged.
