AL unemployment numbers up for 4th straight month


An arrest in Hartselle led to the recovery of numerous stolen trailers and vehicles.

Hartselle Police received multiple reports of stolen property between September 3 and 16.

Investigation led to the arrest of Robert Mayfield. He was charged with two counts of receiving stolen property first degree and one count of receiving stolen property second degree.

Police were able to recover two enclosed trailers, a car hauler, two midget race carts and various property valued at $24,000.

Mayfield's bond was set at $12,500.

Officers expect to make additional arrests in this case.
