HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -
A man tried to rob a person who responded to his Craig's List ad Wednesday night, according to police.
The victim told police he responded to an ad for two iPhones for sale. He agreed to meet the seller on Conger Road and Talwell Drive.
When he got there, a man with a gun approached. The victim fought the man off and fled.
The offender fled the area on foot.
No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.
