Services set for plane crash victims

MADISON COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -

Services have been finalized for the two people killed in Sunday's plane crash at Moontown Airport in Madison County.

The crash happened during a Fly-In event. Federal investigators are trying to determine what caused the crash. 

74-year-old George Myers and 17-year-old Christian Schmidt died in the crash.

A memorial service for Myers is planned for Friday at 5:00 p.m. in his hanger at Moontown Airport.

Visitation for Schmidt is Sunday from 12:00-2:00 p.m. at Berryhil Funeral Home. The funeral will follow at 2:00 p.m.
