HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -
It's a busy day for people cleaning up storm damage across North Alabama.
Chainsaws buzzed early Tuesday morning as people worked to removed downed trees. A large tree fell on Fagan Springs Drive in Huntsville. The road was shut down while crews worked to remove the downed tree from the street.
A similar scene played out Tuesday morning in New Market. A downed tree partially blocked Steakley Road near the Riverton community. That tree brought down a power line.
The National Weather Service also had reports of trees down in several other counties after Monday's heavy rains.
