Passenger killed in 1-vehicle accident

ARAB, AL (WAFF) -

One person was killed in a one vehicle accident in Marshall County.

It happened around 5:45 p.m. Saturday on Mt. Oak Road.

Arab Police said the driver, Cynthia Bentley and her passenger Magurita Havis, both of Guntersville, were ejected from the vehicle. Havis was pronounced dead at the scene. Bentley was listed in critical but stable condition at a local hospital.

The Arab Traffic Homicide Unit is investigating the cause of the accident.
