HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -
A man was killed in a shooting in northwest Huntsville Friday night.
The call came in around 8 p.m. Derrick Wright was shot in front of his home.
He was found lying in the street in the 3100 block of Gayhart Drive when first responders arrived on the scene.
Wright was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Authorities are still searching for the shooter. A K-9 unit was brought to the scene but no arrests have been made.
