Danville, AL (WAFF) -

A tip from citizens regarding a possible meth lab at a Lawrence County home led to the arrest of three people.

Officials responded to a home on County Road 209 in Danville. During the investigation, deputies found items used to make a meth lab and were able to obtain information at the possible producers.

Deputies learned that Mark Allred, Cody Davis and Amanda Thurman were seen in the area.

They also learned all three subjects were involved in suspicious pseudo ephedrine purchases.

Allred was located in the county jail. He admitted to making the meth labs. He said he had been purchasing pseudo ephedrine and trading it for meth. He had also used it to make meth.

Further investigation showed Davis had been purchasing large quantities of pseudo ephedrine from Morgan County.

They discovered both Davis and Thurman were involved in a large meth ring that officials had been investigating for some time.

Davis and Thurman were located and charged with manufacture of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Thurman was not arrested due to injuries from a recent car accident. She will face prosecution as soon as she recovers.
