MADISON, AL (WAFF) -
The annual Trail of Tears will make its way through Madison Saturday.
Madison Police will have a number of roads blocked off to accommodate the event.
Madison Boulevard westbound from Shelton Road to Arlington Drive will be delayed from 9:15 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
Madison Boulevard westbound from Sullivan Street to County Line Road, and County Line Road northbound from Madison Blvd. to Highway 72 will be delayed from 11:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
No cross traffic will be allowed while the roads are closed.
Residents are urged to avoid the area and find an alternate route.
