Huntsville City workers will get a modest pay raise under the budget Mayor Tommy Battle will unveil Thursday night.
Battle's spending includes a one percent cost of living pay raise.
The plan is to reduce some senior positions through attrition to cover the raises.
The mayor's plan won't include any money for SciQuest. The mayor's spokesperson said that reflects just how tight the budget for the coming year will be.
