LAUDERDALE COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -
The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department arrested a man Wednesday night in the Brush Creek Park murder case in July.
Deputies arrested Raymond Gibson Jr. for allegedly stabbing a woman to death at a Lauderdale County campground and charged him with murder.
Investigators said Brooke Parrish, 20, was stabbed between 4:30 and 5 a.m. July 13 at the Brush Creek Park Campground on Waterloo Road.
Police said two men got into a fight around 11 p.m. the night before at the campground, and one man was taken to the hospital to be treated for stab wounds. The second man reportedly ran into the woods.
Parrish later died at the hospital from her wounds.
