HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -
Huntsville Police have seen a slight rise in purse snatching since late August.
Since August 26th, a total of seven purse snatching cases have been reported in the city. The crimes happened at Parkway Place Mall, Bridge Street Town Centre, the Carl T. Jones area and Madison Square Mall inside department stores.
The majority of these purse snatching happen between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m.
The Huntsville Police Robbery Task Force is aggressively pursuing these cases. No arrests have been made.
