DOUGLAS, AL (WAFF) -
Law enforcement agents seized 2,500 marijuana plants in Marshall County over the weekend.
Investigators found the plants along Otinger Drive Sunday morning. Douglas Police and Marshall County Sheriff's deputies spent three hours removing the plants.
The plants range from eight to 12 feet tall.
They discovered an irrigation pipeline that stretched from a nearby pond.
The estimated street value of the plants was more than $50,000.
Investigators have not said if they have any suspects. The investigation is ongoing.
