Kid's tips lead to flasher arrest

DECATUR, AL (WAFF) -

Decatur Police say a group of juveniles helped land an alleged flasher in jail.

According to investigators, the kids flagged down a Decatur Police officer on Wednesday of last week near Glenn  street and O'Malley Avenue. They told the officer that a man was exposing himself to them.

Officers tracked down the suspect, 30 year old Omar Ali, in his apartment.

Ali was arrested and charged with 2 counts of Indecent Exposure, Harassment and Resisting Arrest.

He's being held in the Morgan County Jail, with additional charges pending.
