TUSCUMBIA, AL (WAFF) -
The streets of Tuscumbia were lined early Monday morning for their annual Labor Day celebration.
The 95th Annual Labor Day Festival started with a parade down Main Street, which ended at Spring Park.
There, hundreds of folks gathered for fun, fellowship, and to hear motivational speeches to help re-energize the working class citizens.
"It honors the working people and the working people are the main force of the middle class and we need to honor them and what they stood for over the years," said Trudys Tuckier.
The Tuscumbia Labor Day Rally is the longest running celebration in the Shoals.
