TUSCALOOSA, AL (WBRC) -

Bryant Denny stadium is quiet right now, but that won't be the case next weekend when the Tide has its first home game. But before that game, the Tide has to face the Michigan Wolverines in Dallas this Saturday.

Many faithful fans are traveling to Dallas for the big season opener. A lot of people hit the road early this morning for the nine hour drive from Tuscaloosa to Dallas.

Bama fans Delaina Franklin and Adam Scott left yesterday. In addition to their game day attire, shakers, and face tattoos, Delaina says she has a lucky charm that will definitely help the Tide win.

"It's lucky because they always win when I wear it," Franklin said, holding up a crimson Alabama shirt she says her father got her five years ago.

Kickoff for the Bama game is set for 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 1.

Auburn fans will also be traveling today and tomorrow to Atlanta. Kickoff for the Auburn-Clemson game is set for 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 1.
