HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -
An empty house on Todd Mill Road near Nottingham Road caught fire early Thursday morning.
Two crews of Huntsville firefighters responded to the call around 12:45 a.m.
Firefighters said a person passing by the house called 911 and when crews arrived flames had burned through the roof.
The firefighters had it out in about 30 minutes, but they said there is heavy damage to the house.
No one is living in the house, but it may be under renovation.
Investigators will try to determine the cause.
