HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -
A thief takes advantage of a customer in a local store by stealing the victim's wallet at a time when he knew he would not be paying attention.
It happened at the Dollar General store on University Drive in Huntsville back in May.
In the surveillance video, you see the victim at the counter paying for his items. He noticed someone standing very close to him in line but continued buying his merchandise.
The victim left the store, and the suspect walked out immediately behind him.
Once the victim realized his wallet was missing, he went back in the store to search for it. However, his wallet and the crook were gone.
