HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -
Huntsville Police have been talking to an accused attacker and a young boy who was sodomized while walking home last week.
They are not releasing much about the investigation.
The accused attacker is a similar age to the 10-year-old victim, but HPD won't release his exact age.
Police also haven't said whether the victim and the attacker knew each other.
The investigation began August 23 when a 10-year-old boy was walking down Belafonte Avenue.
The attacker shoved him to the ground, pulled down his pants, and sodomized him.
The victim was treated for his injuries and HPD was contacted.
