SHEFFIELD, AL (WAFF) -
Four people were taken into custody after meth labs were found in a Sheffield home.
Police were at the house at the intersection of 8th Street and Annapolis Avenue at 8 a.m. Tuesday.
Once on the scene, officers discovered multiple meth labs, finished product and other controlled substances; at least one of meth labs was active.
Police said the four people were charged with chemical endangerment of a child as well as trafficking and manufacturing meth.
They were all booked in the Colbert County Detention Center.
