Rolando McClain waives arraignment for criminal charges

Oakland Raiders star Rolando McClain has pleaded not guilty to multiple charges stemming from a fight in Decatur in December of 2011. The former Alabama player also waived his right to an arraignment.

McClain is accused of threatening to kill a man and firing a gun next to the man's head.

McClain was convicted of multiple misdemeanor counts in Decatur municipal court. A judge sentenced him to 180 days in jail. McClain appealed that decision and this case will now be tried in Morgan County Circuit Court. A trial date has not been set. McClain is currently out on bond.

The victim in this case has also filed a civil lawsuit against McClain.
