HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -
A thief grabbed a bag from a woman as she was leaving a local health clinic.
What the thief stole was a bag full of prescription medication a woman was carrying as she left the UAB Health Clinic on Governor's Drive in Huntsville on June 4.
The man was the passenger in a gold, compact car. Huntsville Police said a woman was driving that car.
The man is seen on surveillance video getting out of the car and grabbing the bag of drugs from a woman as she was leaving the clinic.
The thief appeared to know exactly what he was after. The woman was holding a purse and he didn't even attempt to grab that.
It's hard to make out a face on the thief, but that gold car might be the gold key to solving this case.
If you know the man or his accomplice, call 256-53-CRIME.
Or go to WAFF.com, click on Crime Stoppers, then go to the Huntsville Area Crime Stoppers link to see how to text or e-mail an anonymous tip.
And you'll be eligible for up to a thousand dollars in reward money.
