HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -
A father collided head-on with his son Tuesday night in Madison County, according to State Troopers.
Troopers believe at least one of the drivers was drinking.
47-year-old Alan Wayne Gentle was driving a gray 2007 Mercury. His son, 21-year-old Alan Ryan Gentle was driving a white 2007 Chevy SUV.
The vehicles crashed into each other on Colemont Lane just north of Ware Drive around 11:30 p.m.
Paramedics rushed the father to Huntsville Hospital in critical condition. The son and two other people in the SUV were not hurt.
Troopers haven't said who was drinking. The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
