Three Mississippi Braves pitchers combined to shutout the Huntsville Stars by a score of 2-0 on Tuesday Night at Trustmark Park. Starting pitcher Josh Stinson took the hardpressed loss, falling to 11-7 on the season after giving up just two runs on eight hits through six innings of work.
Relievers Brian Garman and R.J Seidel each tossed an inning of scoreless relief. On offense the Stars were only able to muster three hits, one from Scooter Gennett, Hunter Morris and Kentrail Davis. The loss for the Stars was their second in a row.
Game four of a five-game series between the Stars and M-Braves will take place on Wednesday. First pitch is at 7 PM.
