HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -
One person is in the hospital with life threatening injuries after a late night car accident in Huntsville.
Huntsville Police said the accident happened around 1 a.m. Sunday morning. A vehicle traveling on northbound on Meridian Street rear-ended another vehicle.
The vehicle left the roadway, struck a tree and flipped over. Three people were taken to Huntsville Hospital.
Cartina Fletcher, the passenger in the vehicle hit, was taken with life threatening injuries. She is at Huntsville Hospital's surgical intensive care unit in good condition.
