MADISON COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -

The Malibu Cantina at the Parkway Place mall in Huntsville scored a 77 with the Madison County Health Department.

A health inspector reported equipment and utensils were not washed properly; there was no sanitizer available to wash the utensils, and that a can opener blade was dirty.

The Peking Chinese Restaurant in Albertville scored an 83 with the Marshall County Health Department.

The health inspector reported a cooler at 50 degrees, nine degrees above the cold-holding temperature required to prevent bacterial growth. The inspector also reported loose wires hanging from fry baskets, and that there was no measurable chlorine in the dishwashing machine final rinse.

Taqueria y Restaurante Mi Princesa In Boaz scored an 81. The Mexican restaurant had scored 74 and 79 during the previous two inspections. This time, the inspector reported a cooler that holds beef was above the required minimum cold-holding temperature. The inspector also discovered an employee drink on a food prep table, and another in a cooler.

La Constenita in Boaz scored an 89 and got off of the Marshall County Health Department's reinspection schedule. The restaurant scored 72 and 78 during their previous two inspections.
