Tennessee Valley electric rates will hold steady for the next year.
The TVA board voted on a budget for the next fiscal year, which begins October 1. They approved an $11-billion budget on Thursday. That budget does not include plans for a rate increase.
TVA supplies electricity to Huntsville Utilities as well as utilities in seven states.
