LEBANON, TN (WSMV) -
An intersection is shut down in Wilson County after a tractor-trailer collided with a train Tuesday afternoon.
The incident occurred on Briskin Lane just after 12:30 p.m. when a semi that was loaded with dry wall was attempting to cross the tracks.
The truck and train hit each other, causing the truck to land on its side and lose an axle.
There are no crossing arms at the location, however, there are signals to alert cars of oncoming trains.
No one was injured.
The track is used by the Music City Star but afternoon service will not be affected, said officials.
