Several emergency units responded to the scene of a wreck at 1780 West Limestone Road Tuesday morning.
Two people were injured in the one-car wreck around 10:30 a.m. near the intersection of Briar Fork Road.
One person was ejected from the vehicle and the other one was trapped inside. It took rescue crews 15 minutes to get the victim out of the car. Both patients had to be lifted from the creek bank in baskets to the roadway, according to Toney Fire and Rescue.
State Troopers said the driver, Karen Mason and a passenger were transported to the hospital by an ambulance. Mason was listed in good condition Tuesday night. The passenger's name has not been released.
Hazel Green, Toney, and Huntsville Rescue Squad responded to the scene.
