ANNISTON, AL (WAFF) -
A missing 5-year-old Anniston boy has been found safe, according to local police.
An Amber Alert was issued for Michiri Zaquae Dabney Sunday night.
It was originally reported that Michiri was abducted from the 2000 block of Duncan Avenue by a black male in a white van with a black stripe.
Monday morning, the Anniston Police Department announced Michiri had been found safe. They said he was in his father's custody in Illinois and this case is now a custody case.
