STEVENSON, AL (WAFF) -
An investigation is underway in Stevenson where the body of a man was discovered Friday afternoon.
Authorities said someone discovered a body floating in the water about 20 ft. from the bank behind Mud Creek BBQ off County Road 213 in Jackson County.
Sheriff deputies later identified the man as Roy Arrick, 83, from Stevenson.
His body was taken for an autopsy to determine the exact cause of his death.
