HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -
A Huntsville man survived this year's Jerry Damson "Car Survivor" competition.
Steven "Frog" Hudson lasted eight days and two hours to win a new car. Hudson won on a technicality when the other remaining contestant handed cigarettes out the window,
According to the rules, everything that goes in the car must stay in the car. Hudson won a Honda Accord.
"My cousin Shawn did it last year. He was actually the Car Survivor 2 Champion. I was there to support him and he and his friend George were there to support me all the way through."
Hudson said the hardest part was not being able to use the bathroom more than every six hours.
