GUNTERSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -
One person was killed in a fatal wreck in Guntersville Friday morning.
A car and a truck collided on Highway 431 just north of the Causeway Bridge around 7:30 a.m. Officials said a white Nissan Sentra was traveling northbound when it crossed into oncoming traffic. A black Chevy Silverado t-boned the vehicle.
41-year-old Michael Griffin of Fyffe was ejected from the Nissan and died at the scene.
18-year-old Casey Clark of Huntsville was taken to the hospital by ambulance with serious injuries. He has since been released
The driver of the truck was taken by ambulance with injuries.
