HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -
Two restaurants made return appearances on this week's Kitchen Cops.
The Santa Fe Cattle Company in Albertville scored its fourth inspection with an 82. The score dropped from a previous score of 92. The restaurant scored 78 during two previous two inspections.
The inspector reported food residue on dishes and silverware and a dirty ice maker. They also reported open employee drinks in the coolers.
The Restaurante El Azteca in Huntsville received a visit from the health inspector for the fourth time. A Madison County health inspector gave the Mexican eatery an 81, citing them for fish found thawing at room temperature, well above the temperature required to prevent bacterial growth. Also reported, insecticides stored on a food prep table and on food storage shelves. The inspector said that was corrected during the inspection.
Restaurante El Azteca did not get of the reinspection list.
Korea House in Huntsville did manage to get off the list, scoring an 86.
*Editor's note* This morning, we reported that the Santa Fe Cattle Company was a low performer on three straight inspections. They were actually low performers on three out of four recent inspections. We correctly reported their current inspection score of 82.
