MORGAN COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -

Multiple community tips led to the arrest of a second woman in Morgan County involving drugs and four children.

Agents with the Morgan County Sheriff's Department arrested Kimberly Lambert Wednesday night just after 6 p.m., when authorities said she was attempting to leave the state. Lambert was arrested at the Raceway service station on I-565 near the Limestone and Morgan County district lines on multiple arrest warrants.

Authorities arrested Hazelette Smith Tuesday at a home on Terry Road where they found three, one-pot meth labs. Witnesses said the two were making meth at that home where four children also lived.

Sheriff Ana Franklin charged Lambert with six felony charges including unlawful manufacturing and possession of a controlled substance – meth, and multiple charges of chemical endangerment of a child. She was also charged with multiple misdemeanors for possession of illegal drugs.

Lambert was booked into the Morgan County Jail with a $98,000 bond.
