HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -
Don't leave your valuables in plain sight inside your vehicle. It's like a hotel with a "vacancy" light flashing for crooks.
They don't need any help, as one woman found out when a crook helped himself to her items in a local parking lot.
This crime started in the parking lot of the Dowdle Center across from Huntsville Hospital on Governor's Drive June 25.
A woman returned to her vehicle to discover someone had gotten into her car and stole some electronics equipment, as well as her wallet.
And according to Huntsville Police, that "someone" is seen quite clearly on surveillance video holding that woman's credit card taken from that wallet.
He's seen making a purchase at the Wal-Mart on Sparkman Drive a short time later.
