FLORENCE, AL (WAFF) -
A Florence man will serve three years and a day in prison for robbing a Franklin County bank.
The remainder of Ronald Pollard's 20-year sentence for theft of property will be probation. Pollard pleaded guilty to robbing the C.B.& S Bank in Phil Campbell in 2010.
Investigators said Pollard had a gambling problem and was arrested in Tunica, Mississippi, nearly one week after the robbery.
For now, Pollard is being held in the Franklin County Jail.
