DECATUR, AL (WAFF) -
A drug investigation led to the arrest of a Decatur man.
Decatur Police conducted an almost two month investigation into illegal sales of marijuana. During the investigation, agents discovered Jason Beck was selling drugs from his 19th Street residence.
A search warrant was executed on August 2. Investigators found marijuana plants, seeds, drug paraphernalia and a surveillance system.
A warrant was obtained for Beck's arrest, and he turned himself in on August 6.
Beck was charged with possession of marijuana first degree and transferred to the county jail on $2,500 bond.
