Georgia man drowns at High Rock

DEKALB COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -

A Georgia man drowned at a popular DeKalb County swimming hole.

The accident happened around 1 p.m. Tuesday afternoon at High Rock in the Little River National Preserve.

Coroner Tom Wilson said the 64-year-old man drowned and was pronounced dead at the scene. His name is being withheld pending notification of relatives.

Wilson said they are now getting in touch with the district attorney's office to see if an autopsy will be conducted.
