GRANT, AL (WAFF) -
Marshall County deputies arrested a Grant man on drug charges after a traffic stop.
They pulled over a Ford Mustang that was driving erratically on Highway 431 north of Guntersville at 2 a.m. Tuesday. During the traffic stop, deputies found the driver, 48-year-old Franklin Gary Carter of Grant, to be in possession of methamphetamine.
Carter
was arrested and taken to the Marshall County Jail. He was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance. He remains in the county jail under a $5,000 bond.
