Federal judge convicts 4 in drug trafficking ring

Four North Alabama men have been convicted in a drug trafficking case.

A federal judge convicted Kingy Holden, Myron Tibbs, Michael "Little Mike" Brown and William "Little Will" Holden of conspiring to operate a drug distribution ring.

Investigators said the drug ring was based in Madison County from 2006 to 2011. More than 2000 pounds of marijuana was distributed.

The jury also convicted Holden on four counts of distributing marijuana and one count of being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm.

Evidence in the case included a wiretap with the defendants discussing the trafficking. During the investigation, officials seized more than $250,000 in proceeds from the marijuana ring.

Along with the four men convicted, eight others pled guilty in the case.

Ivan Fletcher was charged with convicted felon in possession of a firearm, possession with intent to distribute cocaine, and possessing a firearm in furtherance of a drug-trafficking crime.

Roy Lee was charged with conspiracy to distribute marijuana and cocaine, possessing a firearm in furtherance of a drug-trafficking crime, and possession with intent to distribute cocaine.

Cedrick "Big Ced" Carroll was charged with conspiracy to distribute cocaine, possession with intent to distribute powder and crack cocaine, and possessing a firearm in furtherance of a drug-trafficking crime.

Ashley Chunn was charged with conspiracy to distribute marijuana.

Nathan Williams was charged with conspiracy to distribute marijuana and four counts of money laundering.

Sharode Pickett was charged with conspiracy to distribute marijuana.

Lamaric "Akbar" Douglas was charged with conspiracy to distribute marijuana, and possession with intent to distribute marijuana.

Napolean Ingram was charged with conspiracy to distribute cocaine, and possession with intent to distribute cocaine.
