RED BAY, AL (WAFF) -
Red Bay Police arrested a man after they said he followed his wife home and got in an altercation with her father.
Officials said 20-year-old Brody Rogers followed his estranged wife from Red Bay to her father's house. Once there, the father said Rogers yelled obscenities.
Witnesses said they saw Rogers pull out a gun and hit the man in the head. He then tackled him to the ground and punched him. The victim was knocked unconscious.
Rogers then fled. He was stopped by Red Bay Police and detained. Rogers was charged with assault second degree and released on $5000 bond.
The victim was taken to the hospital. He apparently broke a wrist and required staples in his head.
