HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -
A man was shot Thursday night as he was walking on Glenn Park Drive in the area of Venona Avenue.
Kendrell Samples told police he was approached by an unknown person in a vehicle around 9:30 p.m. and the offender began shooting at him.
Samples was hit once in the upper leg. He ran to a nearby house and called police. The victim was transported to Huntsville Hospital for treatment. His injuries were non life threatening.
A description of the offender and the offender's car has not been released and the investigation is ongoing.
