DECATUR, AL (WAFF) -
Decatur Police arrested two juveniles in connection with a series of Morgan County break—ins.
On Tuesday, a car was reported stolen from an Enolam Boulevard residence. A short time later, police spotted a vehicle matching the description. Officers located the vehicle at an 8th Avenue home.
Several individuals were spotted around the vehicle, and they fled when officers arrived. A short foot pursuit led to the apprehension of a 15-year-old.
During the course of the investigation, a 4-wheeler as well as a boat motor reported stolen were recovered.
The juvenile was arrested and charged with two counts of first degree theft.
A 16-year-old was also arrested and charged with first degree receiving stolen property in regards to the boat motor.
Both were taken to Morgan County Juvenile Probation Office.
