MADISON, AL (WAFF) -
Teen murder suspect, Hammad Memon, has a new attorney.
According to court documents, Memon added Birmingham Attorney James Parkman to his defense team. Parkman was part of the defense in the gambling corruption trial.
Memon is charged with shooting and killing his classmate, Todd Brown, at Discovery Middle School in 2010.
Memon's attorneys have said they plan to use the insanity defense when this case goes to trial.
Memon remains in the metro jail without bond. A trial date has not been set.
